Post from Marc (lericain):

My name is Marc Kerbis I was born in LA California, Reside in Seattle, and part
time in my house in Provence. I was born to a French mom and an American dad.
Like many couples that divorce my mom took me back to her native land which is the
south of France. I graduated from Seattle University in the early 90s.
I started riding bikes at 18 years old I had been a big fan of the Paris to Dakar
race from a much younger age. Herein begins my passion for adventure
touring. While I have traveled all over the world I have crisscrossed Europe via
motorcycle; to places such as the the north Cape of Norway, as Far East as
Cesme, Turkey, Circumnavigated Spain, Portugal, Ireland, England and France,
and the Alps several times over.
I consider myself to be an energetic, safety minded individual that enjoys being
immersed in different and new cultures. I love great food and go out of my way
to find places with warm welcomes, good food and drinks, where I can mingle
and laugh. I do all my own work on my BMWs bikes from changing tires to
rebuilding engines that enables me to get home wherever I go. My daily
drivers in the US include 07 K1200S, an 04 R1150GS, and an 04 K1200GT;
European rides include a 01 R1100S and a 98 K1200RS.

While my career in real estate development and construction continues, I have
decided to share this humble amount of motorcycle touring knowledge with my
community, whom has served me well. To show my gratitude please take 10%
off any trip I offer starting with my Alpine trip Sept 17-24 2018
